With the Google Access team, you'll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with team members across the business to refine and evolve our projects, as well as deploy new technologies to markets and communities around the US.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. You will work on data driven inquiries to determine areas that are functioning sub-optimally, then develop and implement new processes/solutions to help the organization increase productivity exponentially. You provide local market expertise, relay concerns and feedback b/t centralized team and local markets, and help both groups come up with workable solutions.

On the program management front, you are an expert in managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. You will work regularly with Access core teams and with geographically diverse deployment teams in multiple markets across multiple initiatives. Your projects will often span offices and time zones, and will be tied to various other projects and deadlines.

Top Daily Responsibilities

1. Understand Access products, internal tools and processes and leverage those to develop data automation and increase overall work efficiency across the org

2. General data mining and data management

3. Identify data inaccuracies preventing smooth workflow and implement scalable solutions

Additional Responsibilities:

- Identify bottlenecks in the build and deployment process and propose automated solutions to improve productivity based on data analysis

- Work with local/regional teams to determine opportunities for improving efficiency

- Rollout new processes and tools to all markets

- Present findings and recommendations to cross functional team(s) and leads.

- Develop expertise in Fiber's reporting and ticketing systems, address-related tools and systems, including various spanner databases, FDS, FAS, -

Weaver, Maps, 3GIS, SFDC and other possibly other GIS systems

- Work cross-functionally with Construction, Sales, -

Marketing, Customer Service, and market teams to prioritize requests and manage workload

- Create technical documentation. Develop, improve and document processes and workflows.

Required skills:

- BA/BS in applicable field, or equivalent practical experience

- 3+ years of technical program management experience with an emphasis on continuous process improvement

- Experience with data analysis, visualization, data manipulation, and SQL

- Fast paced self-starter with ability to develop project scope and drive the project to conclusion

Nice to haves:

- Skills in scripting languages, particularly SQL, Dremel, PLX, and Python

- Knowledge of the Access or telecom business, and or Geo/GIS tools

- Passion for deep analysis of quality issues leading to measurable improvements in the product experience

- Vendor management experience

- Demonstrated track record of executing in large scale programs

- Outstanding organizational, technical, interpersonal and multitasking skills
