Project Overview:

We're working on democratizing startup success, and making startup thought leadership universally accessible and useful. To facilitate this we need to build data infrastructure that will allow us to measure our impact, progress, and learnings. We need a Data Analyst who can organize, coordinate, and drive our multitude of data projects (aided by a team of Googler 20%ers) so that our dynamic and fast-moving team can deliver on this vision.

responsibilities:

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with software engineers to implement the devised infrastructure
  • Build relationships across the cross-functional team and/or partners while coordinating and managing the work to ensure effective execution
  • Consolidate Launchpad?s internal data and create a standard data language for all Launchpad startup and program data

Top 3 daily Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data-related projects are prioritized in line with Launchpad key metrics and goals
  • Work with the Launchpad team to consolidate data collection processes and ensure consistency across all data for reporting and analysis
  • Create and document clear, light-weight, and efficient processes
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in a technical or related field.
  • Proven program management experience with 2 years experience managing complex projects interfacing with multiple cross-functional teams and/ or partners, and demonstrated ability to deliver

  • Comfort with using formulas in Google Sheets

Nice to have:

  • Past experience working with Google Apps Script and implementing APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and experience in applying project management techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicate clearly and effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses, leadership, and teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence people and get results without having direct authority
  • Capability to think strategically, balancing a broad range of internal and external factors when identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions
  • Strong attention to detail balanced by the ability to envision and communicate the ?big picture?
  • Outgoing, highly organized, adaptable, and tenacious; able to deal with ambiguity and change
