job summary:

Cyber Technical Project Manager

  1. Duties: Serves as the contractor's information security technical project manager, and shall be one of the primary contractor's authorized interfaces with Government Senior Management personnel and customer agency representatives. Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, managing technical personnel, and creating and enforcing Enterprise-wide NIH solutions for Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) Vulnerability Assessments, scanning and continuous monitoring. Technical Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.

Shall be responsible for the overall technical team performance; ensures that the project team completes projects; provides the overall management of the project direction as related to functionality, schedule, and budget; manages project team performance; provides periodic reports to the Government's Project Officer; manages recruitments, responsible for status reporting, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by/in the project team.

  1. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline. This position requires a minimum of fifteen years of experience, of which at least ten years must be specialized in Information Security. Specialized experience includes: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and security-focused specialized certifications such as the CAP and CGEIT. Thorough understanding of Information Security Technical and Compliance requirements (like FISMA and NIST Special Publications) is required. Responsible for technical project development from inception to deployment across large Enterprises. Expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanism.

With a Master's degree (in the fields described in section II above): thirteen years of general experience, of which at least seven years specialized experience, is required.

skills: With a Ph.D. (in the fields described in section II above), twelve years general experience, of which at least six years must be specialized experience.
