Responsibilities

Responsible for the development, administration and support of the Cyber Security Platforms.
Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign
Produce a detailed functional design document to match clients requirements/expectations
Responsible for day-to-day end user application support and problem solving.
Setup, configure, and maintain Packet Capture devices.
Inspect traffic and report on traffic patterns, anomalies, malware, and other threats.
Assist with threat identification and inline threat prevention.
Knowledge of log formats for syslog, http logs, and DB logs.
Installing software on servers / Configuring Agents to forward logs to SIEM.
Use existing APIs to consume, display, filter, search complex security related information.
Utilize Panorama with strategic development of policies, rules, NATS, and security profiles
Implement network security policies
Monitor, secure, and communicate network vulnerabilities and attack vectors for diverse stakeholders
Provide extensive knowledge of Gigamon, Palo Alto Firewalls, FireEye, Sourcefire, Lancope Stealthwatch, or RSA NetWitness security tools.
Qualifications

Knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following; RSA Archer, Netwitness, Palo Alto platform configuration with a minimum of 4 years full-time hands on develop experience
In depth knowledge of Information Security risk, security controls, and industry best practices with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
General understanding of a risk-based assessment approach.
Experience with computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
Experience in Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering and Independent Assessments.
Experience with Data backup and recovery.
Experience with computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies

Qualifications

Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA

or an Associates (Technical) and 8+ years, or Cybersecurity certifications (more than 1) required in lieu of degree.
Cyber security certification desired (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CCNA, CySA+, CCSIP)
RSA Archer Administrator Level 2 Certification desired
Experience with SQL databases
Experience with JavaScript
Experience formulating, interpreting and implementing policies and processes
Strong documentation skills
