Currently looking a eGRC System Engineer to join a Security Operations organization on a contract with a federal government client with an important mission.


You will have the opportunity to design large enterprise architectures, implement enterprise RSA Archer (eGRC) technologies, and assist in maintenance strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse set of stakeholders to understand threats and vulnerabilities associated with a large enterprise and develop approaches for mitigation. Members of this team are highly motivated, self-driven, and given great latitude to bring forth new ideas for managing risk.


Responsibilities



  • Provide engineering support for RSA Archer (eGRC) platform and other Security Operations, including deployment, operation and maintenance, and full documentation thereof
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with the overall configuration and administration of RSA Archer Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (eGRC) environments. This will include set up, configuration, support and maintenance of eGRC dashboard environments across multiple instances. Additional 3rd party integration will also be required to incorporate, configure and deploy additional modules, data feeds, or new solutions
  • Lead the administration of items such as user accounts, data feeds, workflow & reports access etc.
  • Work directly with operational teams to understand individual requirements for A&A, SecOps, Policy and Continuous Monitoring modules and ensure that these requirements are built into the overall Archer solution
  • Provide development / configuration support based on technical requirements
  • Own technical issues/problem resolution and request management
  • Execute test cases and document them
  • Support User Acceptance Tests and implement code into production
  • Define/configure questionnaires/workflows/forms/reports in Archer
  • Participate in and support Archer version upgrades
  • Install, test and deploy new applications in Archer
  • Work with service management and infrastructure teams as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution
  • Conduct in-person and online training sessions for stakeholders as appropriate
  • Plan and manage system engineering/deployment projects, to include schedule management with realistic timelines, communications management, user training, user-acceptance testing and documentation
  • Provide system administration for Security Operations as required
  • Contribute adequate information and documentation of team operations for leadership and other constituents


Qualifications / Requirements



  • Credentials


    • BS/BA degree
    • Five or more years of related work experience

  • Knowledge


    • Network technology and common protocols
    • IT system engineering methods and best practices
    • IT development methods and best demonstrated practices
    • Strong knowledge of agent deployment, including scripting, deployment, and general system administration
    • Expertise in consulting with clients to define needs and issues, developing requirements, and analyzing findings to advise and recommend solutions to clients
    • Knowledge of deployment tools, such as: SCCM, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills




  • Experience, Skills and Abilities




    • Fluent with all aspects of the RSA Archer eGRC environment including: administration, reporting, work flows, dashboards, notifications, related applications and feeds
    • Experience working with databases and managing multiple data feeds
    • Demonstrated success in building and deploying Archer (or similar) large-scale systems in a federated environment.
    • At least 2 years of experience in integrating, configuring, and operating at any of the following a plus: RSA Archer (eGRC), intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions, Web proxies, netflow, cyber intelligence and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) tools
    • Experience integrating with other management tools
    • Strong experience with Windows and Linux administration and extensive Active Directory and Group Policy management

Preferred Qualifications:



  • RSA Certified Archer Administrator or Advanced Administrator
  • Experience implementing/administering enterprise RSA Archer and eGRC platform
  • Experience in managing multiple data feeds
  • Experience deploying cyber security systems, tools, sensors and scanners
  • Experience implementing firewalls and IDS/IPS tools
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Solarwinds, Manage Engine, Whatsup Gold and others
  • Experience in Windows and Unix Server environments
  • Experience with engineering, system administration or use of SIEM systems
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with server and system administration
  • Experience working on a Federal contract
  • Knowledge of host and network security tools and sensors
  • Knowledge of security products from RSA, IBM, Cisco, FireEye, Carbon Black, Tenable, Symantec, Trustwave, and etc.
  • One or more role-related certifications (such as MCSE, Certified Linux Administrator, etc)


Be able to pass government Public Trust Clearance
