Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Perspecta Program Manager the selected candidate will fill the position of Cyber Security Analyst of the Perspecta Army TENCAP SETA Program.

In this role the selected candidate shall provide CS guidance and documentation throughout the system development life-cycle to include providing CS guidance at meetings, briefings and design reviews and during system development IAW currently applicable CS regulations and policies.

Candidate services shall include security engineering, implementation and validation, as well as facilitating request for waivers or other exceptions to policies based on tactical implementation of security domain requirements. The candidate shall facilitate multiple security authorization processes implemented by national agencies.

The candidate shall review the design of hardware, operating systems, and software applications proposed for TENCAP programs and provide comments as to whether the design (1) adequately addresses CS security requirements and provides confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation; and (2) properly mitigates identified threats/vulnerabilities. The candidate shall review and provide comments on test and evaluation activities to validate those threats/vulnerabilities are mitigated.

Provide technical services to systems providing Theater and National ISR capability. Conduct evaluations and prepare programmatic documentation and information for securing systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Shall have a minimum of fifteen years of progressively complex experience in the security of the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD or IC capabilities and systems.
  • MS Degree in a Cyber Security or a relevant BS and additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the MS Degree.
  • Demonstrated performance as a leader and individual contributor working across integrated customer/candidate project and functional teams to deliver capabilities.

Desired Skills

  • The candidate must be able participate in all phases of the security authorization process. The candidate shall review and provide comments on Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentations needed for initiatives to receive Authorization(s) To Operate (ATO)s, Interim ATOs (IATO)s, Interim Authority To Test (IATT), and Certificates of Networthiness (CON). Army systems reside on Non-secure Internet Protocol Router network (NIPRnet), National Security Agency network (NSAnet), Secure Internet Protocol Router network (SIPRnet), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks.
  • Demonstrated performance as an ISSO/ISSM on a major system
