Control Systems Engineer

Position Summary
The control systems engineer will be responsible for design, development and support of PLC-based Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas purification system products.
Primary Responsibility and Duties:
- Select hardware and develop software for PLC-based control systems as required to meet UHP gas purifier system requirements;
- Create specifications, flow charts and other required documents to clearly describe the operation of systems including, but not limited to, function descriptions, GUI specifications, alarm definition, alarm boundaries, recipe execution, operation data management and logging.
- Design and develop communication networking in control systems per product requirements. (e.g. ModBus TCP/IP)
- Work closely with hardware and software suppliers and integrators to ensure new products meet project requirements;
- Work closely with Product Marketing group to implement Graphical User Interface requirements in new control systems;

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Physical Requirements):
--Minimum of 3 years' experience in design and development of hardware and software for control systems or process automation equipment using Programmable Logic Controllers;
--Experience in using Siemens PLC is required;
--Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing is highly desirable;
--Bachelor or Master Degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering;
--Software programming skills in ladder logic VBScript and STL (Statement List);
--Experience in developing integrated software for real-time industrial control systems;
--Working knowledge of operation and configuration of SCADA systems and programming of PLC equipment;
--Familiar with tools and applications used to design, develop and debug control systems software.
