Construction Manager

Permanent position: Leading construction firm specializing in design/build of plumbing, piping, process and HVAC systems has several direct hire openings for Project Managers. Primary responsibility will be to lead projects through all phases of HVAC construction to ensure standards, deadlines and budgets are met.

Responsibilities for the Construction Manager

  • Review, organize and distribute Contract Documents (drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, Construction Bulletins, etc.) and shop drawings/submittals to appropriate team members
  • Draft, submit and track RFIs and their corresponding responses.
  • Attend field coordination meetings & distribute meeting notes
  • Provide duration/task information to general contractor in development of overall project schedule.
  • Manage, track and report labor productivity in accounting software on a weekly basis

Requirements for the Construction Manager

  • BS Engineering or related preferred
  • 5+ years PM experience on piping/plumbing related projects specific to HVAC
  • PMP certification a plus
