Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and implementing a formal CADM program for classified and unclassified hardware and software code, documentation, and drawings using MIL-STD-973 as a reference. Maintain CADM automated software configuration status accounting/library storage and control systems and a repository for filing, cataloging, and retrieving baselined software, documentation, and drawings. Will review statements of work for security compliance, prepare and review accreditation documents, maintain a current suspense file of accreditation documentation, participate in external and internal compliance inspections for the storage of classified documentation and classified automated data processing. Works with more junior staff to develop and review configuration management plans, software management plans, software transition plans and participate in functional/physical configuration audits of computer programs in accordance with the guidance established through the principles and procedures that the Department follows as described in DoD Directive 5000.1 and DoD Instruction 5000.2.

The successful candidate shall:

  • Manage, track, and coordinate with the SIs on Project baselines and conduct Physical Configuration Audits for Configuration Status Accounting for each Managed Project on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage, track, and coordinate with the SIs to conduct Functional Configuration Audits for each Managed Project on a quarterly basis.
  • Update and maintain the CITDB for each managed project via Government provided tools.
  • Participate in the ERB for projects on a quarterly basis by generating a list of ECPs to be considered for Engineering assessment, manage the ECP Tracker to ensure all ECP evaluations are entered, assist in the Engineering assessment of the changes for impact to the system, and identify changes to the Computer Software Configuration Item and the CITDB necessary to implement the change.
  • Track and review configuration items in support of the Configuration Management process, in accordance with Configuration Management Plans
  • Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, review ECPs, capture minutes and action items in support of CCBs, and ERBs.

Qualifications

Requires in-depth knowledge of government regulations pertaining to personnel, facility, documentation and delivery/receipt of classified data. Working knowledge of SharePoint and Agile processes are desired.

Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
