As part of the Integrated Technology Operations, Distributed Technology Operations (DTO) team, the Computer Operations Analyst 4 (COA4) primary role will be to provide shift leadership as well as technical expertise to highly complex issues and initiatives related to the support and maintenance of the Corporate Distributed Computing Platforms (OS and Hardware) both Virtual and Physical including the following core focus areas; Windows Servers, UNIX based Servers (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX), Linux based Servers (Red Hat SuSE), Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS). Candidate will also be expected to provide guidance and leadership to technical system support initiatives. The COA4 will be the escalation point for the DTO team, and a mentor to COA2 and COA3 team members.

Working as part of the Distributed Technology Operations team, candidate will assume responsibility for event escalation, alert and incident management service, change event support and execution service, break fix service including problem diagnosis, troubleshooting repair and resolution of issues impacting systems and impaired user functionality.

This Operations team provides 24 x7 services and the candidate will be required to work a day shift position scheduled Sunday - Wednesday (two 12 hour shifts as well as two 8 hour shifts)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of computer operations experience
  • 1+ year of leadership experience in a production environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in fast-paced mainframe, midrange, or bank operations environment
  • Problem resolution management experience for technical bridge line calls
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology help desk support: problem resolution management for technology bridge line calls
  • 5+ years of UNIX experience
  • 5+ years of Windows OS administration experience
  • 2+ years of virtualization technologies experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: ticketing workflow systems, in a production environment
  • CompTIA A+ Certification (is that the same as A+ certification, which is preferred)

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in fast-paced distributed server, or IT operations environment
