Compliance Analyst


This position if for an analyst that will work in a fast-paced environment supporting many IT projects and Supply Chain activities. This position will focus on Quality Assurance reviews of contracts to ensure we have incorporated and captured proper documentation that supports ongoing management, compliance and audits of company assets. Efforts will include reviewing legal terminology of contractual agreements with suppliers, capturing and tracking contract meta-data and license information, conducting research to respond to supplier or customer questions, and the development and support of analytics and reporting related to suppliers and licensed products.


Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Demonstrates knowledge of IT Architectures, terminology, and use of technologies. - Understanding of software licensing models, rights and limitations. - Read and interpret key Contract language (terms and conditions) with an understanding of the obligations and implications. - Ability to extrapolate and summarize contract information for population of meaningful meta-data - Attention to details and personal ownership of ensuring quality - Develop reports using both proprietary contract management software reporting solutions and standard Microsoft products


Basic/Required Qualifications: - Experience with IT Technologies, Software licensing and/or Contract Management. - Very team oriented and possess a passion for effectiveness and quality - Carry out individual work assignments to meet established work schedules - Has the ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of integrity - Knowledgeable experience in use of Microsoft reporting solutions and office products. - Understanding of software discovery tools and processes Desired Qualifications: - Experience with SciQuest's Upside contract management software or similar contract management software - Work experience in reading and understanding software, hardware, professional services and other IT related contracts. - Work experience with cyber security, auditing, compliance, or related experience. - Effective oral and written communication skills. - Effective planning and organizational skills - Effective negotiating skills
