Your Role and Responsibilities
Communications Professionals are responsible for a companys communication with different target audiences, including customers, journalists, and the community. this role will advise other employees and managers on communication tasks, and use written and verbal skills to create a wide range of innovation, product and corporate communication material. By communicating effectively with internal and external audiences to help build a positive reputation for the company.

Profile
Managing a companys reputation, especially with the proliferation of social media incidents, is vital to protect a companys brand and help build a positive repertoire with consumers, clients, and its employees.

R&R
- Strategize, create, and execute a national/international media engagement plan
- Manage internal communications (newsletters and employee kickoff meeting etc.)
- Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website
- Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences
- Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
- Foster relationships with advocates and key persons
- Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce integrated results from press or social media
- Perform issue management in cases of bad publicity
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from business leaders


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills and business knowledge.
- Good communication skills. Able to communicate orally and in writing information, ideas and concepts at a level to varied internal and external audiences.
- Engaged as an independent professional. Ability to articulate and compare alternative approaches.
- Problem-solving skills. Able to use a range of tools, data, techniques and procedures to identify, understand and resolve various job related issues.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Recognizes problems related to project objectives.
- Applies creativity and judgment to professional, technical, or operational problems.
- Ability to negotiate with specified objectives or need to communicate with multiple business units.
