Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Senior IBM Data and AI domain expert seller on integrated accounts, responsible for overall account strategy for
  • IBM Cloud Data and AI, including OI initiatives.
  • Accountable for all IBM Cloud Data and AI services annual contract value, revenue performance, and client success as measured by client adoption and expansion of cloud based data and AI portfolio of offerings.
  • Identify key areas where business transformation can be achieved through application of analytics, data science and adoption of ML/DL/AI into core business processes.
  • Cultivates long term relationships with client buyers and influencers of data and AI architectural decisions.
  • Responsible for detailed interpretation of business requirements as input to data and AI solution design process.
  • Leads and coordinates SMEs and technical resources from the Business Units to align on IBM Cloud data and AI opportunities, and to design a scalable, cohesive solution for the client.
  • Differentiates IBM Cloud Data and AI solutions vs. competitors through hands-on demonstration of capability.
  • Portfolio optimization to meet any constraints of the deal (e.g. client budgets, skills availability, complexity etc.).
  • Primary linkage back to IBM Data and Analytics Unit Business Leaders for the account.


Client Relationship Leadership
  • Earn strategic trusted advisor status across the spectrum of the client decision makers and influencers in Cloud Data and AI domain.
  • Understand and influence clients overall Cloud Data ad AI strategy and challenges, and their technical implications
  • Drive wallet share and frequent buying behavior for IBM Cloud Data and AI portfolio
Client Architectural Leadership
  • Develop and execute a strategy to win key architectural control points at your client
  • Identify and consult on major Data and Analytics projects, to influence key decisions, visions and strategies, in alignment with client priorities.
  • Integrate One IBM POV in solution selection process.
  • Deploy thought leadership on application of AI for business in the account
Solutions Thought Leadership
  • Thorough interpretation of client business requirements.
  • Ensure high quality, solution design for all IBM proposals from a data and AI lens.
  • Portfolio optimization to meet any constraints of the deal.
  • Demonstrate value through contemporary engagement techniques (e.g. Design Thinking).
Innovation Leadership
  • Drive the client innovation agenda by leveraging IBM Academy & IBM Research.
  • Accelerate adoption of IBM Cloud data and AI solutions and platforms through co-creation of next generation solutions aligned to client industry use cases.
IBM Community Leadership
  • Represent One IBM architecture point of view.
  • Integrate IBMs broad SME community for the client, tapping large network of SMEs as needed.
  • Represent clients interests back into IBM Offering Management process.


Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Expert level in articulating IBMs Data and AI solutions in the cloud and showing value and key patterns of consumption Data Science, Data and Analytics and Cognitive solutions.
  • Experienced level skill of data and AI services on the IBM Cloud Watson APIs, Virtual Agent, DSX, database service
  • Expert level vertical industry knowledge. Ability to articulate business clear, compelling, quantifiable business value of IBM Data and Analytics solutions.
  • Experienced level skill in Design Thinking method.
  • Experienced level in creating thought leadership in the account on our data and AI initiatives
  • Experienced level in demonstrating solutions and prototyping data/AI solutions
  • Ability to build and lead account strategy including articulation of IBMs unique value to the c-suite.


Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Able to envision opportunities and create strong value propshelping client identify high-value data and AI entry points (e.g. new applications, transforming existing applications, or starting a cloud sandbox)
  • Demonstrated ability to establish IBM Cloud Services Agreement (CSA) and Passport Advantage Cloud Terms of Use
