Education:


- Undergraduate in the sciences or certification in cloud infrastructure management


Experience:


- 2-3 years experience in cloud services administration


- Experience with Azure or AWS


- Experience in using monitoring tools


- Experience in implementing automation in a production environment


- Experience with network administration


- Experience supporting Windows in a production environment


- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages preferred


- Experience with agile and DevOps model


Skills:


- Experience with cloud services.


- Relationship building expertise with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers and external alliances


- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and status to technical audiences.


- Self-reliant, assertive and passionate


- Knowledge of Windows Operating System fundamentals


- Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, facilitation and problem solving skills


- Fault analysis/determination and problem-solving skills


Preferred:


- Undergraduate in computer science or computer information systems


- Experience with both Azure and Amazon Web Services.


- Experience with automation and active scripting languages including PowerShell.


- Experience with at least one configuration technology including: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.


- Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).


- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse teams and personalities


- Excellent written and verbal skills with proven ability to effectively present to Executives


- Familiarity with computing infrastructures, including Data Security, Help Desk, Operations, Network Computing, Data Base and Application Development


- Creative and innovative thinking


- Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system problems


Description:


The Cloud Ops team is responsible for the delivery and support of Microsoft Azure and AWS systems and services, as well as implementing cloud-specific projects for internal software development and the business. The Cloud Administrator role provides monitoring and support for our cloud environments including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
