Your Role and Responsibilities
Client Technical Specialists (CTS) are the technical experts and advisors to clients, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners. As a CTS you understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. You apply your business insights, build and maintain client relationships, incorporate hardware, software and services into client-valued solutions and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions. - Identify pipeline, progress and close deals to achieve/exceed quarterly targets with IBM Power Servers
- Drive and support sales plays, present at client events and use data to track sales performance
- Actively work on opportunities for AI/ ML/DL and Cloud Paks working with and coaching the Poland and Baltics IBM sales teams, partners and customers
- Drive client awareness of usage IBM products (IBM Power Servers) including POC/POT
- Enable and motivate sellers to understand and articulate the value of our Cloud for IBM Systems Platform (IBM Power and IBM Storage).
- Provide strategic directions to clients on AI and infusing machine learning in their business
- Collaborate with internal sales and services lines to support customers with current projects and generate new on new customers.
- Enable and support the growing Business Partner ecosystem.
- Actively demonstrate our solutions and business value for our clients
- Customer satisfaction assistance (on-site/off-site visits, web conferences, phone calls).
- Attending and feeding back into stakeholder review meetings with the product teams.
- Use innovative ways to identify and progress opportunities and demonstrate client value discovery methodologies, Meetups, and whiteboard presentations.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience with customers in pre-sales or consulting

Ability to work with customers, build relationships, show the value IBM can bring using technical arguments, diplomacy and by applying market and use case expertise. Stay engaged and supportive though to the completion of the sales process and focus on client success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong strategy and vision skills on cloud transformation, AI, and data science.
Knowledge of data management and advanced analytics is required.
Strong technical understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, micro-services architecture benefits and open source technologies
Strong knowledge of Linux on IBM Power Servers will be strong asset
Strong knowledge of AIX will be strong asset
Building IT Infrastructure architecture including HA/ DR scenarios and providing business arguments like TCP/ROI will be strong asset
Strong presentation skills required
Ability to run discovery meetings with clients to identify use cases, business problems and prioritize initiatives
Approximately 25% to 50% travel is likely to be required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Linux, open source, Kubernetes, AIX background (preferred but limited to), Databases knowledge, data warehouse, integration and governance.
Data science, machine learning and open source analytics technology ecosystem understanding
technical sales background
Experience with client facing role
English language spoken and written skills
Polish native"
