Your Role and Responsibilities
The Client Advocate role is primarily aimed at aligning and optimizing the capabilities of IBM to the needs and opportunities of the client. This person would have responsibility for: account strategy and planning to create value for business' to IBM; opportunity identification, validation, and qualification to build and sustain the required pipeline; building trusted client relationships that matter; client satisfaction; and achieving IBM's business objectives (Revenue, Profit, Signings, and ACV Signings ).

This position will work as a leader on one of our Integrated Accounts supporting and will primarily interface with our Software, Systems, Cloud and Cognitive, IBM Global Business Services (GBS), IBM Global Technology Services (GTS), and other category leaders who represents specific IBM Solutions.

Work Locations: New York Area or Atlanta (Preferred)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5 plus year in a Sales Role
  • Financial Services Industry Knowledge and Experience
  • Client relationship management,
  • Communications (all types including client presentation and digital engagement),
  • Strategic and innovative thinking,
  • Sales process and opportunity development / progression,
  • Business case development and value quantification.
  • Business and technology experience
  • Skills in the leading areas of new value creation: Cloud, Data and Analytics

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Managed technology services,
  • Software portfolio rationalization and management,
  • Infrastructure Modernization,
  • Agile application development,
  • Business process reengineering and automation.
  • Ideally, a person would have 10+ years of experience in 1-2 of these areas.
