Currently seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the Traffic and Transportation industry for a permanent position with a leading Traffic Engineering firm.
Responsibilities for the Civil Engineer
  • Manage traffic engineering, transportation planning, parking analysis and related projects
  • Interact with clients including architects, real estate developers, urban planners and zoning consultants.
  • Prepare technical reports such as Traffic Impact Analysis and other studies
  • Manage engineering design of traffic signals, roadway lighting, functional intersection design such as roundabouts and deceleration lanes
  • Assist with and/or prepare proposals for new projects, as well as meeting potential clientsRequirements for the Civil Engineer
    • BS in Civil Engineering
    • Licensed P.E. (would consider someone getting P.E. in the next 3 months if not currently in hand)
    • A minimum of five years plus of professional experience in Traffic/Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, or equivalent field
    • Proficient in MS Word and proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other graphics software is desirable.
    • Proficient in Synchro traffic analysis or other traffic analysis software is a plus
