Role Purpose

Organizational Change Management resource to support project-related activities involved in a major upgrade/refresh of a large-scale IT Service Management tool which facilitates enterprise-level ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Configuration Management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy which will support adoption of the changes required by a project to upgrade core IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications needed for the project under the guidance of Continual Service Improvement process owner.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Support the creation of standardized training artifacts across core ITSM processes involved.
  • Partner with the application and infrastructure project managers to integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Track and report issues, monitor change progress


  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact at all levels, building and strengthening positive relationships at every touch point.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Some knowledge of HP Service Manager or previous experience with similar ITSM ticket tracking tool preferred
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes throughout the ITIL lifecycle (ITIL v3 Foundations), how those processes interact and their shared inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
  • Results oriented with energy and passion to achieve and exceed stretching objectives and to deliver within tight timescales.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and participate in virtual teams.


Organizational Change Management Foundation or Practitioner certification highly preferred

ITIL Foundations V3 certified preferred

Minimum - Certified in ITIL Foundations v3
