Our client in Marietta, GA is currently seeking a Coordinator of Organizational Change. As a Coordinator of Organizational Change, you will be responsible for coordinating change management processes to create a strategy which will ensure organizational readiness and acceptance required by a project or initiative. The incumbent in this position is responsible for embedding organizational change management practices in the organization's projects and structured work efforts to achieve the desired business outcomes. This role is responsible for leading, coordinating and providing visibility into the organization's change management efforts and will report into the IT PMO Director.

Coordinator of Organizational Change Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will have experience leading projects that define and implement process innovation or transformation.
  • Conducts impact analyses and assesses the organization's change readiness to prepare for organizational change.
  • Creates a communication plan or road-map to ensure all employees are fully aware of the impending changes.
  • Ensures milestones are successfully met through the management of project activities, tasks and coordination of resources.
  • Promotes the business vision with a benefit framework that links adoption to change to successful project delivery and business outcome.
  • Creates tailored change management plans with respect to training and orientation to accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted to change.

Coordinator of Organizational Change Qualifications:

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields preferred.
  • Certification in Change Management preferred
  • Proven experience with and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches and tools.
  • 4+ years with a structured Project Management discipline or Consulting project management experience in Education is a plus
  • Basic understanding Project Management methodologies and Agile/Scrum.
  • Working experience with MS Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint required.
  • Able to work on projects of high complexity, high visibility, and high pressure timelines.
  • Ability to influence decisions across all levels.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a technically complex and fast changing environment.
