Job Description

Wells Fargo Wholesale Change Management team is hiring a Business Systems Consultant that will be responsible for managing requests supporting a dynamic line of business that is external client facing.

A self-starter, able to mulit-task, work well under tight deadlines and be comfortable working with technical and business teams.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensure change management process is followed.
  • Single point of contact for change questions and for escalation when needed.Train change requesters on process as needed
  • Review all production changes for accuracy and approve if no issues are found
  • Attend weekly Pre-ECAB & ECAB meetings; review reports and be able to answer any questions that may arise
  • Act as a liason between change requesters and ECM to resolve issues
  • Attend weekly Change Coordinator meetings
  • Provide technical assistance to change requesters to resolve issues with PAC2000
  • When reviewing CRs, add appropriate stakeholders and approvers as needed
  • Review all Emergency CRs to ensure they have followed the process for emergency changes
  • In reviewing Exceptions CRs ensure the exception justification field is filed out and then obtain CTO approval
  • In reviewing changes, ensure that the change is occurring within the approved SLA, and if the change is happening during the COW and there is no approved SLA escalate to CTO for approval
  • Escalate to CTO/CIO of any other issues when necessary
  • Review the risk of each CR to make sure the risk questions is marked correctly.
  • Escalate changes of other Technology groups that may impact WFS
  • Create Problem Tickets when issues are found with PAC2000
  • Escalate all High Risk change to CTO for approval
  • Run weekly report from Discoverer on changes that are closed with issues. If any issues, review with the requester on the issues that are in question
  • Create simple reports in Discoverer when needed

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of working in technology
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience using Remedy PAC2000 application
  • Past experience with/knowledge of Wholesale or Enterprise Change Management processes
  • Understanding of SDLC, ITIL methodology, and life cycle management
  • Implementing new processes and process improvements as necessary to minimize risk
  • Proven ability to establish, lead, and maintain strong working relationships with technical and business teams
  • Familiar with internal Wells Fargo technical terminology (Enterprise and/or Wholesale)
  • Ability to manage and understand the technical and business implications of multiple projects and how they interact/impact one another
  • Experience working within Wholesale in a business and/or technical role
