Job Description

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. seeks a Capital Markets Applications Systems Engineer 2 in New York, NY to analyze computer systems for the implementation of solutions that align with the front office computer system requirements and specifications on a rapid development cycle. Utilize mathematical modeling constructs, advanced mathematical concepts, and theoretical pricing characteristics to develop technology to support multiple complex risk and/or pricing models that adjust with market fluctuations, VAR, Counterparty Potential Future Exposure, stochastic modeling, derived market data and stress testing. Build, test and deploy infrastructure framework for the equity derivative quant model library and migrate products from the existing library to the new risk engine system.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible development experience with derivatives and pricing theory in distributed environments. This experience must include 5 years of implementing pricing applications in Excel and various optimizations associated with Excel programming; deploying Excel based applications to multiple traders; and derivatives trading, pricing, models, and soft market data. Experience must include at least 5 years with Excel/VBA, Java/C#, SQL, Perl/Python, RDBMS, Real Time messaging, Unix, Linux, Bloomberg API, Reuters API in Excel Agile, and test driven programming.
