Job Description

Lead Foreign Exchange Pre-Trade Developer. This is a senior role that will touch many areas of the lifecycle tied to RFQ and RFS workflows, including but not limited to market data aggregation, request validation, price creation including manual intervention, price delivery, and order management. Candidate will face off with product management and trading on an ongoing basis.



Required Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 3+ years of pricing systems development or implementation experience
  • 3+ years of trading systems development or implementation experience
  • 1+ year of Low Latency systems development or implementation experience
  • 10 + years of computer application development experience
  • 7 + years of Core Java experience
  • 4+ years of securities industry experience
  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to articulate basic project methodology concepts for managing scope, cost, and schedule
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement large scale/complex software applications
  • Ability to develop or support high availability, high volume transaction processing systems
  • Advanced experience in capital markets business and processes
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEC, FNRA, and international regulations for building technological solutions



Other Desired Qualifications
Algorithmic development experience
High Frequency systems development or implementation experience
Order Management Systems/Electronic Management Systems (OMS/EMS) development experience
Distributed caching, in-memory caching
