Job Description

Application Delivery Manager for Collateral Management System:

This position will be part of the Wells Fargo Securities Funding & Collateral team. Wells Fargo is expanding in collateral management and building a strategic platform. The scope of this work includes participating in building and supporting the strategic platform.

  • Facilitate IT related projects for Collateral Management team
  • Follow software development life cycle processes and standards will be responsible for design, development, test, and implement of the project
  • Understand business function and analyze user requirements, make a clear scope of project and build consensus with users (Create 'Project Management Plan').
  • Lead in analysis and scoping of data sourcing and functional enhancements, functional/application design, functional specification discussion, and obtain users agreements.
  • Obtain commitments from all identified stakeholders on creation of project plan and handle of project change management.
  • Create project schedule, project activity list and control to keep the schedule and within budget.
  • Guide QA- manager for standardization of Testing, Data requirement and environment planning.
  • Work with vendor (where relevant) for project tasks that has vendor dependency , agree on joint development testing and release plan ,
  • Produce and review Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans.
  • Prepare necessary documents to facilitate and deliver the project (Release checklist, UAT results, etc.).
  • Will need to closely supervise developer resources work, and ensure that quality coding practices and processes have been observed
  • Provides design and development support for strategic collateral management platform.
  • Follow change and incident management processes
  • Develop and foster a positive relationship with team members and business partners
  • Propose creative solutions to meet technical and business priorities


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development experience
  • 3+ years of securities industry experience
  • 10+ years of onshore application development process experience
  • 10+ years of Java experience
  • 10+ years of TIBCO experience
  • 10+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
  • 5+ years of Spring experience
  • 5+ years of distributed servers platform experience
  • 5+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 5+ years of financial industry experience
  • 3+ years of UNIX experience
  • 3+ years of Autosys experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in capital markets business and processes
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEC, FNRA, and international regulations for building technological solutions
  • Completion of coursework in computer science, information systems, or a similar technology-related field of study
  • Knowledge and understanding of trading technologies and architecture
  • Knowledge and understanding of price distribution mechanisms, market access, low latency trading and pricing
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology development: high-availability and high volume transaction processing systems
  • 1+ year of Hadoop experience
  • 2+years of Mongo DB experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Person should be able to communicate with the stakeholders of the application and technology peers to deliver the functionality. Should be team player.
  • Have working experience in Collateral Management or any Capital Markets LOB (Securities Finance/Repo/Prime Brokerage)
