About Wells Fargo (EGS) India Solutions
We are hiring for a position in EGS Delivery in India. EGS stands for Wells Fargos Enterprise Global Services. We are a critical component of the Wells Fargo strategy to leverage distinct advantages of a global environment. Legally, we are known as Wells Fargo (EGS) India Solutions . Currently we are 12000+ strong team members with 3 locations ( Chennai ,Bangalore and Hyderabad) in India and 1 center in Manila.

  • Works with assigned business groups to issue/evaluate RFx and conduct reverse auctions. Assists in establishing supplier evaluation/selection criteria and coordinates supplier due diligence activities.
  • Drafts standard contract terms and conditions and analyzes contracts data to identify cost savings and service enhancement opportunities.
  • Manages spend categories, develops supply chain strategies and leads contract negotiations for assigned low risk, low complexity products and services.
  • Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Acts as the primary liaison for current assigned and potential suppliers. Escalates and resolves customer service issues.
  • Responsible for planning and implementing purchasing programs with suppliers and on-going measurement, monitoring, and reporting of supplier performance. Responsible for meeting all vendor management program requirements and policy compliance.
  • ability to interact with effectively with a variety of contacts, ability to manage through front line managers
    Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
  • Accurate and timely processing of all purchase order and management
  • Manage the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities such as ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time etc.
  • Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company
  • Identify areas where spend is under-utilizing preferred suppliers and work with Managers and Category Leads to pursue opportunities
  • Support Category Leads, Managers and Directors with information on Key Suppliers to enable them to understand key spending trends
  • Works with senior Supply Chain Managers to identify strategies to continually improve category effectiveness and streamline supply chain processes.
