Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced candidate to join the Regulated Users Compliance Technology team in a role with exposure to high profile compliance programs. The team facilitates successful delivery of Technology solutions through project management, subject matter expertise, requirements, and writing specifications, participating in technology design sessions, and conducting user acceptance testing. In support of Regulated Users, we partner with Research Compliance, Employee Surveillance and Controls, Financial Crimes, Underwriting/Investment Banking, and LOB Compliance groups (Equity, Municipal Bond, Fixed Income Products, Financial Products, and Principal Investment).

Specifically for this role, we are looking for an experienced candidate to be responsible for:

  • Creating annual roadmap of all funded projects and significant BAU initiatives
  • Project and BAU release planning, resource planning with Business Analysts and Developers
  • Audit remediation / coordination as well as maintenance of past corrective actions
  • Coordination and resource planning with QA COE. Verification of QA test plans
  • Leading Agile Scrum sessions for multiple work streams. Recording action items and following up with assigned individual to ensure all work is proceeding
  • PMO reporting including project status and financials for funded projects
  • Issue tracking all enhancements and defects for multiple applications.

This role will initially have influence in our eMessaging group but can expand to all areas and applications we support. The candidate hired will work closely on a daily basis with our WFS Compliance partners, business analysts, vendors and multiple development teams both in and outside of our immediate group.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
  • 7+ years of account or project management experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 5+ years of technical project coordinator experience
  • 7+ years of project management methodology experience
  • 7+ years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)
  • 7+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 7 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools
  • 10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ year of compliance and regulatory systems experience
  • 3+ years of relational database experience
  • 3+ years capital markets industry experience focused on fixed income sales in the Asian market
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using issue tracking tools such as Jira, ClearQuest, QualityCenter, TFS, etc.
  • Experience managing/overseeing multiple technology projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated organization skills
  • Regulatory environment experience in one or more specific areas including, but not limited to: FINRA, OCC, SEC, Dodd-Frank, Volcker, NFA
  • Understanding of and exposure to various technology concepts including but not limited to: Relational Database, SQL, Hadoop, batch, real time, messaging, file transfers, 2-tier vs 3-tier applications, various programming languages. (development experience not required, however)
  • 7+ years of technology project experience
  • Agile/Scrum software development methodology
  • Demonstrated clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level working knowledge of basic technology concepts including relational databases, functional specifications, batch vs real-time, and graphical user interface design
