Job Description

This position is to manage software products and releases for the Enterprise End Point and Mobility Enablement team. Primary responsibilities include managing the SDLC process from planning to development to QA and production. This position will also be responsible for the relationship between the teams using the applications or services and the development, qa and operations teams responsible for delivering it.

  • Acts as a lead in release planning including guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
  • Gathers and analyzes highly complex business requirements
  • Manages roadmap planning, feature enhancement planning and break/fix
  • Oversees overall systems testing to ensure applications hit the mark once delivered to production
  • Act as the focal point for issue escalation
  • Owns the development of documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides required for the applications.
  • Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

This role will be responsible for managing application releases through the DevOps lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of managing software projects or releases
  • Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies
  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • Microsoft Visio experience
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • 3 years experience working with software development teams
