The Total Rewards Technology Team is part of the broader HR Information Technology team within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT). The team supports enterprise compensation, performance management, recognition, and benefits for Corporate HR.

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Consultant 5 to join our team to support execution of the technology strategy and compliance initiatives activities that have both internal/external and domestic impacts for Corporate Benefits.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

Lead a technology work unit in a large and complex enterprise environment. Client relationship management experience including negotiating priorities, setting common goals, collaborating on requirements and testing, solving problems, and consultation. Partner with the HR Technology Enablement team and Corporate Benefits in the creation, evaluation, and interpretation of business requirements. Create detailed functional design documents as required. Facilitate SDLC processes for assigned projects. Creative problem solving in areas of workload management and technical challenges. Help create and execute policy and processes used by the team. Nurture the talents of team members with varying degrees of experience, through coaching, and mentoring. Communicate status, plans, progress, and issues with a wide variety of audiences, including senior technical and business management, peers, and technical staff.

Note:Preferred work location is Minneapolis, MN.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both5+ years of PeopleSoft experience5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements5+ years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)5 + years of experience writing Functional Specifications Documents (FSD's)5+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or Workday)3 + years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring

Desired Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higherKnowledge and understanding of technology development: high-availability and high volume transaction processing systems 3+ years of employee benefits experienceExperience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of businessKnowledge and understanding of Quality Center/ALM, Quick Test Professional and ClearQuestKnowledge and understanding of technology testing: creation of: FSDs, test scripts, test plans, and test executionKnowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information securityKnowledge and understanding of technology project management: large scale development projects, including data migrations and third party vendor integrations5+ years of Agile experience
