Job Description

Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
  • Advanced Microsoft Access skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of data query language or report writing tool(s)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • Ability to capture and document complex business and functional requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: open tickets or calls with vendors
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
  • 1+ year of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Technology process management exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo's Technology Operations Group

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Prior experience in Wells Fargo Technology Groups
  • Advanced Access Data Query, Oracle SQL+
  • Prior experience as liaison between business and technology groups
  • Translation business requirements into functional specification documents (FSD)
  • Managing production problem tickets, and monitored escalation approvals
  • Identifying and responding to defects during both Integrated Functional Testing (IFT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Process Management and oversight
  • Thorough understanding and experience with SDLC process
