Enterprise Information Securitys (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargos infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

Enterprise Access Management is responsible for managing system access for the enterprise and relies on many tools and processes to provision and maintain appropriate levels of access for our business partners. We participate in many projects where our expertise is required for success.

This Business System Consultant 5 will partner with EAM and Line of Business resources to enhance and manage specific Enterprise Access Management tools. They will be responsible for assisting with support as well as overseeing certain products and tools in our portfolio to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and best practices.They will also be responsible for identifying/assessing tool requirements, performing analysis, providing documentation, support and training materials to help improve the effectiveness of EAM tools for internal customers.A successful candidate will have the ability to understand access management strategy and how to integrate tools to improve effectiveness.They will be required to analyze business requirements, prioritize enhancements and communicate changes to stakeholders. The ability to understand access management and business strategy and translate them to effective requirements is a critical part of this position. The candidate must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including required training annually.

This position will support the EAM Organization in knowledge and alignment with Enterprise Information Security (EIS) and Enterprise Access Management (EAM) organizations for access needs.

  • Deliver process consistency across Wells Fargo supporting Access Management initiatives
  • Works with a variety complex applications and/or application initiatives
  • Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible factors
  • Assist with building sustainable processes to meet EAM compliance with policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of teams throughout the organization

Successful candidate will work closely with the Information Security Management, Risk, and Enterprise Access Management team along with business lines and technology leadership across the enterprise in the execution of the WF strategies/objectives.Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to effectively engage in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, and have a strong operational focus.

Location: Telecommute preferred, but will consider Wells Fargo work locations in Charlotte, NC, St. Louis, MO, or Chandler, AZ

Will consider other Wells Fargo domestic US locations.No locations outside of US.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience facilitating complex design discussions and driving results
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to work within cross-functional and cross-business and cross-agency teams
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
