HR Systems, within Wells Fargos Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) group, provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes, including payroll, benefits, learning and recruiting. We are currently seeking a senior-level Business Systems Consultant to join the team supporting HR Compensation applications. The chosen individual will be responsible for working within a team of technology professionals who develop and support technology solutions for the critical compensation functions. This role will also include lead responsibilities on select projects.

This role demands a focus on establishing trusted partnerships, prioritization, and design leadership. In addition, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate competency in the areas of collaborative problem solving, effective consultation, and critical analysis of business case, requirements, and design.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Be part of a technology work unit which supports HR Compensation systems
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and primary point of contact for HR Compensation applications
  • Serve as a liaison between HR Systems and the Line of Business within Corporate HR in the creation, evaluation and interpretation of business requirements for new and BAU projects
  • Partner with QA and Lines of Business within Corporate HR for Integration and User Acceptance testing
  • Leads projects and tasks assigned as well as less-experienced team members.
  • Create detailed functional design documents as required.
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions in working with test errors / defects
  • Adhere to Wells Fargos and HRs data management and security policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Be responsible for all aspects of and adhere to Wells Fargo System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Communicate status, plans, progress, and issues with a wide variety of audiences, including senior technical and business management, peers, and technical staff
  • Partner with Team members on the Compensation Planning and Decisioning application which supports Focal Review and Score Card processing.
  • Partner with Line of Business in determining requirements for new and BAU projects.
  • Adhere to Data Security requirements.
  • Work with managers and team members to resolve data, application errors and reporting issues.
  • Team centric to propel the team forward in problem solving, requirements gathering and provide team support/coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 7 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
  • 7+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 5+ years of change management experience
  • 1+ years of experience using HP ALM or other testing tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 5+ years of PAC2000 Change Management experience
  • Experience with HR software such as Time Tracker, Workforce Analytics, and PeopleSoft
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: creation of BRDs, FSDs, and screen mock ups
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development and implementation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Compensation Planning systems.
  • Experience with Data Transfer Protocols
