Job Description

The Competency Center CRD Team is looking for a Business System Consultant to manage optimize release management process. It requires coordinating multiple development streams and communicates schedule time line for release process. Job includes tracking changes being deployed and engaging teams to work together on defects identified in the release. It will require following the enterprise change management process, understanding the escalation process of various teams to meet Application SLA. The successful candidate will help triage issues during a release process, improving the release approach. Candidate would document process and reporting mechanism in place to report historical data. The Business Systems Consultant serves as a key point of contact for issue reporting and resolves break/fix and performs application management and support for EIT mandates.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaborate with analytic functions throughout the organization
  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners

  • Strong Release Management process knowledge.
  • Technical analyst abilities to translate business requirements to release management
  • Self-directed and detailed oriented individual
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Well organized and detailed oriented ability to bring technical teams together into a working session
  • Understanding of project planning in technical and fast pace environment
  • Previous experience in communicating between technology and business partners
  • Experience working with offshore team members
  • Experience working in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based environment
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in presenting to senior management
  • Operational knowledge and understanding of financial services product terminology
  • Past Experience working with Investment / Trading application
  • Experience with complex compliance and incentive trading applications
  • Past systems consulting experience
  • Past Experience working with Web Application and Relational DB in a highly integration environment.
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Front Office Products
  • PAC2000
  • JIRA
