This role is part of the Technology Asset Operations (TAO) Team within the Enterprise Information Technology Group that supports a Vendor Risk and Operations Function. The Business Systems Consultant 5 role will report to the Program Lead of the Third Party Patching Program.

This role is critical in the continued development of the Configuration Management, Vulnerability and Patching (CMVP) governance program with regard to Third Party Supported Assets. This is a critical position within the Third Party Patching team and the candidate will work closely with the program lead as well as other IT Third Party Competency Center senior management. The position will work closely to support the needs of the Program, as well as support the needs of the team in collecting and testing system requirements, developing future enhancement design documents, providing automated solutions for enhanced management reporting and overall program support. The position will be expected to help drive the development and enhancement / improvement of departmental tools as related to expansion of CMVP governance program.

This position acts as a liaison between client area and the technical organizations by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Prepares specifications for system changes, recommends and initiates systems testing and acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

The ideal candidate must be well-rounded in their skills with experience in both writing requirements and testing through all phases of the SDLC. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the concepts associated with each and able to efficiently: 1) Create and maintain business design documents and business/functional requirements, 2) Analyze business needs and build design solutions to be solved by automation, 3) Write test scenarios, cases, and scripts based on business requirements, 4) Demonstrate proven data analysis and testing skills with a high attention to detail, 5) Perform in-depth quality assurance testing, feature testing, system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing, 6) Document, report, and track defects, 7) Research production problems; help identify triggers and solutions to resolve, 8) Prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment, 9) Work independently in a highly virtual and fast paced environment, 10) Interact effectively with all levels of IT Third Party Competency Center team members and management as well as Key Stakeholder groups/Development Teams, 11) Handle multiple changing priorities and stay on track/focused, 12) Train and provide demonstrations to key stakeholders, internal team members and our Risk Community, and 13) Collaborate with Key Stakeholders/Line of Business Partners.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
