Job Description

Brokerage Internet & Intranet Group (BIIG) provides comprehensive technology management for Wells Fargo Advisors Customer and Financial Advisor Digital Platforms. BIIG is responsible for all facets of production availability, technology delivery, vendor management and line of business support. This position will be a member of the existing Operations Support team serving as a primary liaison between US Business, Technology and Enterprise Global Services (EGS) team members.

The Brokerage Internet & Intranet Group (BIIG) Production Operations team is looking to fill a Business Systems Consultant 4 position. The Business Systems Consultant 4 role will be part of the Brokerage Internet & Intranet Group (BIIG) Production and Performance support team. BIIG supports the online brokerage websites for Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA) and Correspondent Clearing Firms (FCCS). This role is responsible for level 3 support for technical issues that relate to the BIIG Systems and coordinating Change Management for the BIIG infrastructure environment. This role will also provide general support leadership, which may include leading meetings, tracking issues, coordinating validation of infrastructure CRs, managing SharePoint content, and periodic reporting to IT and business leadership.

The ideal candidate has an intermediate knowledge of the technical aspects of information systems as well as the aptitude to quickly understand business processes. This role will utilize a combination of technology/business processes to quickly assess an issue and determine and implement a resolution. Provide consistent and comprehensive updates on the health of the production environment, significant issue management, and communication with lines of business and support partner management

Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo PAC2000 - WF's ticketing system based on Remedy application
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of business systems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple high priority issues at one time
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirement development and documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: System including business requirement design or review, release management support, test script development and execution, and system issue resolution
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Experience in identifying, clarifying and resolving issues and risks
  • Self-starter who can handle several work items independently


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • SQL experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in a large environment



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with offshore resources
  • Understanding of the Brokerage Business and processes
  • Understanding of reporting tools associated to PAC2000
  • Previous experience with highly complex technical systems
  • Experience working with mid-level management
  • Experience coordinating hardware and application installation
