Job Description

Wholesale Banking Technology supports all aspects of the Wholesale Commercial Lending process contributing to the success of Wells Fargo as the largest small business lender in the nation.

This positions responsibilites will include but not limited the following:

  • Act as a liaison between the Small Business Lending line of business and technology organization by planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend system and process change.
  • Act as an internal consultant within the Wholesale Lending Technology group by using quality tools and process definition/improvements to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo AFS (Automated Financial Systems)
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology and modeling
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to describe complex concepts and solutions to business and operational partners
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project discovery from requirements through documentation and into development
  • Ability to organize material for ease of use by consumers
  • Experience creating use cases and flow diagrams
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to clearly present solutions to senior management
  • Ability and desire to collaborate with other analysts on project assignments and internal team initiatives
  • Self-managed, with regard to determining and meeting deliverable milestones;
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis using SQL for discovery and process analysis
  • Experience creating Data Mapping, Process Flows and Rule Analysis documentation
  • Experience using TSO for mainframe process discovery
  • Ability to perform basic Cobol program analysis
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
