This role is part of the Technology Asset Operations (TAO) Team within the Enterprise Information Technology Group that supports a Vendor Risk and Operations Function. The Business Systems Consultant 4 role will report to the Program Lead of the Third Party Patching Program.

This role is critical in the continued development of the Configuration Management, Vulnerability and Patching (CMVP) governance program with regard to Third Party Supported Assets. This program requires continued process and program development, tools development and/or integration, change management, implementation plans and execution and ongoing administration. This position will work closely to support the needs of the team in all reporting aspects, data analytics; ad-hoc reporting, creating processes around all reporting and report management, creating new ones, preparing delivery of reports and provide overall CMVP program support. This position is to assist the program lead and assistant program lead through expansion development and implementation, and then maintaining with continuous improvement.

This position acts as a liaison between client area and the technical organizations by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and recommending solutions in developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet program reporting and data analytic requirements. Works with the program team to analyze program needs, build reporting design solutions to be solved by automation and enhance and perform in-depth analysis of monthly metric reporting. Works with users, the assistant program lead and program team to provide training, resolve questions, assess reporting needs, and recommend changes. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

The ideal candidate must be well rounded in their experience and skillset with respect to all areas of data mining processes, data gathering, reporting and data analytics. The candidate must be will be able to: 1) Work independently in a highly virtual and fast paced environment, 2) Demonstrated proven data analysis and reporting skills and abilities, 3) Interact effectively with all levels of IT Third Party Competency Center team members and management, 4) Act as an internal consultant to supported lines of business and technology groups to provide strategic and comprehensive data analytics, identify automated reporting solutions, and be results focused, 5) must be proficient in communicating at all levels of the company including senior management, 6) handle multiple changing priorities and stay on track/focused, 7) collaborate with Key Stakeholders/Line of Business Partners and 8) must possess a strong work ethic.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo s Third Party Information Management Systems (TRIMS) database
  • Experience using data analysis to identify trends
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of creation of high level designs, low level designs, process flows
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of project coordination: scheduling using MS Project, Project Server or similar system
  • Strong relationship management skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of the Third Party Patching Portal (TPPP) tool
  • Strong working knowledge of CMVP Program framework and reporting processes
  • Must be pro-active and able to propose solutions to the work group
  • Demonstrated ability to cope well with change in a dynamic environment and deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
