Job Description

This role is within Consumer Lending Technology Systems Architecutere Group. This organization provides architectural and strategy services across all of consumer lending related platforms and applications.

In this role, the team member selected will act as a liaison between the assigned client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Addiitonally, you will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. The Business Systems Consulatnt is tasked with working with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.

Other tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preparing specifications for system changes.
  • May develop systems test plan components and test scripts.
  • May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
  • Tracking project dates, prepare status reports, follow-through and reviewing detailed task with developers
  • Reviewing new projects and providing technical assumptions and information for purpose of estimating work.

The team member selected for this role should demonstrate the folwing competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)

The prefererd locations are: Minneapolis, Des Moines and Charlotte. Other locations may be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of project coordination in an IT environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge and understanding of creation of work estimates and timelines
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending applications, specifically loan origination systems
