Job Description

HR Systems provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes, including payroll, benefits, learning and recruiting. We are currently seeking a business systems consultant to join the team supporting Compensation Planning and Decisioning. The chosen individual will working with a team of technology professionals who develop and support technology solutions for the critical compensation functions.

This role demands a focus on establishing trusted partnerships, prioritization, and design leadership. In addition, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate competency in the areas of collaborative problem solving, effective consultation, and critical analysis of business case, requirements, and design.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Team members on the Compensation Planning and Decisioning application which supports Focal Review and Score Card processing.
  • Partner with Line of Business in determining requirements for new and BAU projects.
  • Prepare Functional System Documents and Test Scripts.
  • Compile data for test results and test result proof.
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions in working with test errors.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of and adhere to Wells Fargo System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Adhere to Data Security requirements.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis.
  • Partner with other technology groups.
  • Work with managers and team members to resolve data, application errors and reporting issues.
  • Adhere to Wells Fargos and HRs data management policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Work with virtual teams.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) testing teams.
  • Leads projects and tasks assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of HP ALM experience
  • 3+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 1+ year of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 3+ years of SQL or SAS experience
  • 5 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
  • 2 + years of project management experience working on application development projects
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on critical operational data
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational database designing schema, stored procedures, and views for performance with large data sets
  • 1+ year of PAC2000 experience
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of compensation processes, systems and associated tools such as PeopleSoft, Time and Attendance, Staff Management, Workforce Analytics, or Market Pay Survey Reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HR.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Ability to interpret requirements business documents, formulate questions to develop Functional System Documents (FSDs).
