This Business Systems Consultant 4 position will be integral part of fast growing PREVENT team within Cards Fraud & Risk Systems Group in Consumer Lending Technology.

This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Systems Consultant professional with solid background to contribute in full lifecycle development, testing, implementation and support of cutting edge Java based GUI application(s) in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidate will be an excellent team player who is flexible and adapts to change quickly as well as possesses ability to effectively work with team members across US and EGS locations.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Serve as Business Analyst / Systems Consultant as part of a growing team of Business System Consultants supporting multiple Line of Business partners, translating business requirements into Functional & System Design specifications, facilitating development, problem resolution, supporting testing and implementation
  • Represent PREVENT BSC team to Technology and Line of Business partners and external vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between Line of Business, PREVENT development and QA Center of Excellence Teams, TOG/ Line of Business Project teams and third party vendors to drive results.
  • Lead meetings and collaborate with Line of Business partners and interfacing application, support teams.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements to formal FSD & SDD documentation (including GUI Screen mockups and data mappings) to ensure PREVENT application meets business requirements.
  • Closely partner with internal development teams (Offshore) and QA Center of Excellence teams (Onshore/Offshore) to ensure that business requirements, functional & System design specifications (FSD & SDD) are translated accurately into working technical designs/code and that test plans and scripts prepared by QA team accurately test required functionality.
  • Provide timely tracking and status reporting for PREVENT application team deliverables supporting internal and external project timelines.
  • Support production implementation/validation of Change releases as part Enterprise Quarterly Releases. (Note that some occasional evening and week-end work may be required.)
  • Actively engage in Change Release planning cycle and preparing PREVENT sizing estimates for projects impacting PREVENT.
  • Review test plans, test scripts, and defect/issue logs from QA Center of Excellence team.
  • Assist in research and resolution of production issues and QA defects.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of experience developing systems designs for GUI applications
  • 2+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 2+ years of financial services experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience with Debit/Credit Cards, Wells Fargo On Line Banking
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with Fraud management systems
  • Excellent relationship skills (to collaborate with and support technology/business partners)
  • Channel and retail WF products supported via WF OLB
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with external vendor systems
  • Knowledge of Fraud business operations in Cards and/or DCG FCS organizations
  • Exposure to XML message formats, Tools
  • Experience working with SharePoint as well as defect tracking tools such as Clearquest, Quality Center
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Project Methodology (Scrum)
