This position will provide project and base support to the Case Management & Workflow Technology (CMWT) organization and will include the following: Perform basic analysis and documentation of business requirements. Communicate effectively with business and technical partners. Design medium to complex level database configurations, roles, and security access. Develop functional specification and technical design documents. Coordinate production deployment consistent with security policy and installation standards. Handle application enhancements independently. Undertake and successfully execute a broad range of technical assignments. Take part in DR support rotation schedule. Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported area and analyzes additions and changes for risk to the environment. Participates in testing and updating the business continuity plan. Provides IST and ET support for projects impacting numerous forms of complaints/claims processing.

Provides technical consultation and support in the design/implementation of computer applications and programs, and database schemas. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.

Develops original and/or complex design guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Leads the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies2+ years of JIRA experience

Other Desired Qualifications 3+ years of business analyst experience on current/near-current versions of the Pega Systems platform Pega certification CBA (Certified Business Architect), CSBA (Certified Senior Business Architect) and/or equivalent training/experience PegaSystems application experience in the financial services industry Demonstrated ability handle requirements gathering and enrichment for a complex feature-set project using the Pega Systems-based platform Thorough understanding of PegaSystems-based solution principals and capabilities Confluence tool experience Experience with Pega 8+ release levels Prior experience with financial industry from an operations perspective Experience managing SDLC project requirements and change/deployment management Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers Proven ability to collaborate with business partners to define project delivery roadmaps Hands-on experience with solution testing/training/supportDisclaimer
