The Control Framework Engineering & Execution group within Wells Fargo Technologys Technology Control group is responsible for implementing and monitoring a risk-based program to identify and mitigate any operational risks that arise from inadequate or failed internal processes, systems or external events or may provide oversight of an operational risk program. The group also participates in, and provides consulting and support for, projects and initiatives to identify and mitigate operational risk in business activities.

The position will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the Technology Control Database Operations Team (TCDB-Ops) within the Technology Control area of Wells Fargo Technology. This includes Operational Readiness, Control Adherence, and Exception analysis functions. The candidate may be asked to complete other related assignments as assigned.

This position will leverage a broad and significant knowledge of technology and the associated challenges, risks, and required controls inherent in a complex federated environment to aid in analysis and reporting of disparate data sets, through the development of automation scripts.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 5+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of Tableau experience

Other Desired Qualifications 5+ years experience within an Enterprise Technology function or Technology Risk function with demonstrated knowledge of technology systems, applications, infrastructure, and emerging technology and associated risks in a business environment 4+ years of experience in business intelligence reporting, data mining, data analysis, and/or statistical analysis. 2+ years experience with SAP Business Objects report development. 2+ years experience with of administration for the following software platforms: UNIX, Windows, Activity Directory, Mainframe, I-Series and Middleware Products such as Jboss, apache, WebSphere, IIS Broad and significant knowledge of technology and the associated challenges, risks, and required controls inherent in a complex federated environment Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning. Proficient in Microsoft tools Ability to create SQL queries, pivot tables in excel, analyze large data set and create reports Solid understanding of normalized database structure. Critical thinking, ability to do root cause analysis of data and address data quality issue via automation. Ability to analyze reports to determine actions based on results. Ability to understand written security policies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Detail oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities.
