1. Item set up & availability. Vendor Accelerator will support item set up and content update, identify issues impacting item online availability, item maintenance and optimization.

-Coordinates the setup of Walmart.com website content and items by working with buyers and the Item Set-Up team to ensure the set-up of new items and to maintain item changes.

-Works with copywriters and the Supplier to manage content acquisition.

-Forecasts business volumes and works with vendor to ensure replenishment; runs reports for drop shipment items; and distributes out of stock reports to Supplier.

2. Supplier communications. Vendor Accelerator will serve as the point of contact for problem resolution / internal advocate to relevant functions.

-Works with Marketing and Supplier to ensure circular proofs are set up correctly; works with cross-functional teams to ensure items go live in a timely manner.

-Submits critical tickets for system or data repairs that impact Supplier?s business.

3. Promotional activities. Vendor Accelerator will support marketing efforts on behalf of Supplier's brands.

-Conducts analyses on promotions to identify opportunities to improve promotional effectiveness, in collaboration with the Marketing team.

-Collaborates with Marketing and Site teams to promote key items.

4. Product / category analysis. Vendor Accelerator will compile lessons learned for the category and incorporate in future plans.

-Conducts analysis on Supplier?s business identifying opportunities for growth.

-Identifies key item drives for the items in Supplier?s portfolio.

-Develops strategies to drive growth for Supplier?s business and makes recommendations to the Buyer and Merchandise Manager.

-Tracks Supplier?s performance on the Walmart.com site by monitoring reviews and ratings.

Vendor Accelerator Qualifications:

-College graduate

-Creative problem solver, able to review data and evidence to determine the causes of problems, and recommend solutions on how to address them

-Fast learner, that can update knowledge and skills to handle complexity, new processes and systems

-Demonstrates creativity in the face of change, obstacles in a fast paced environment

-Oral and written communication skills ? is able to effectively communicate clear, up-to-date information on business plans and priorities

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint ? is able to create documents, reports as needed, and leverage Excel to analyze business trends

-Ability to effectively interact with WMT internal team across multiple functions and WMT suppliers
