Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-entity, enterprisewide redesign initiatives that will encompass an end to end analysis and future state redesign that requires specialized knowledge or skill critical to the redesign effort. Develops root cause analysis and business case for proposed technology, staff and structure changes, including cost estimates. Establishes standards for measuring performance against process requirements. Aligns projects to management strategy. Produces new process improvement techniques and services. Develops metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities. Identifies and manages resources, including cross-entity members, to successfully execute projects. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May support to integration efforts, possibly taking a lead role. Coaches multiple redesign teams in six sigma process and tools. Drives business awareness of quality/process methodology.: 10+ years business analysis experience.


The candidate is expected to be a seasoned professional with ability to perform under minimal supervision and is expected to work alongside other colleagues in the following areas:


- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to develop working relationships with colleagues in documentation, back office, front office, technology, risk management and related technology.


- Liaise with the business stakeholders and translate the requirements into a technology landscape


- Identify cross-work stream dependencies and optimize


- Consulting with the Business clients to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into analysis/report designs & recommendations.


- Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate business and work stream requirements.


- Perform complex data analysis via SQL and working in databases


- Perform analysis of data and technology and come up with analysis and present the inference to stakeholders for process and system improvement


The candidate is expected to demonstrate solid understanding/experience in the below areas:


- Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate management reporting, while adhering to data management regulations & policies.


- interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements


- Understanding of SDLC, process, design and toolsets


- Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


- Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis via SQL and working in databases


- Creation of ad hoc analysis for business requirements.


- Consulting with the Business clients to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into analysis/report designs & recommendations.


- Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate management reporting, while adhering to data management regulations & policies.


- Identifies and recommends internal and external data sources, compiles, mines data from multiple, cross business sources; data involved may be very, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources.


- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy


- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills besides solid presentation skills


- Knowledge and understanding of process analysis and improvement methodologies


- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment


- Capital Markets knowledge/experience in processes in risk operations, compliance etc., and regulatory compliance areas like CCAR, Basel-II/2.5/III etc.


- Knowledge and understanding of conversions, system analysis, data mapping, conversion reconciliation, validation and implementations


- Experience creating data flows, BRD and FSDs


- Ability to consult with business partners to define key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards


- Knowledge and understanding of data mapping, mining, or modeling


- Advanced SQL Server user


- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects


- Familiarity with trading desk operations and systems(calypso, bloomberg, imagine...)


- Strong MS office skills (i.e. - complete facility with Excel), trading applications, and various market data services, as well as experience/knowledge of SQL)
