Wells Fargo Enterprise Architecture
The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team is responsible for defining architectural direction and the overall framework for a distributed architecture program. The EA team works closely with the line of business group architects to define governance and strategic direction and establish a consistent engagement model for IT architecture services

Job Description
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the Architect and Engineer the IT portfolio, which includes the full spectrum of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) capabilities. This senior Architect is a key part of the IT for IT Architecture team, defining and executing on the IT for IT strategy at Wells Fargo. This Architect must establish key relationships and influence at a senior level across all key functions in IT including EIT Operations, CIO, Enterprise Technology Infrastructure and Risk.
This Architect will maintain connection across the Plan and Build components of the IT for IT portfolio .This is particularly important with integration of planning, portfolio, project and DevOps tool chain capabilities into core ITSM and SACM services.
This Architect will leverage a broad understanding of IT from all perspectives including Infrastructure Management, Application Management and the business delivery model of IT to develop strategy and capabilities. This Architect also manages strategic vendor relationships and a large portfolio of applications, working closely with strategy and architecture functions to evolve and rationalize the portfolio across ITSM and SACM.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes
Overall responsibilities include:
Architect and define process integration for tools & platforms enabling Deliver and Run components of the IT Value Chain, including tools and platforms that support Configuration Management, IT Operations Capabilities, Workflow Services, Asset Inventory and IT Service Management, and Asset Discovery and Catalog Services
Architect and define process for the IT Service and Configuration Management technology team
Ensure technology services provided to technology operations and asset owners are performing and meeting critical needs
Work with IT for IT Leadership, management peers, and architects across the EIT organization to evolve the overall IT for IT technology strategy and organization capabilities
SACM deliverables, including:
Asset Inventory Management
Discovery, Catalog Services & Acquisition Tools
Vulnerability & Configuration Management
ITSM, including:
Problem, Incident, Change Tools
Service Desk, Request, and Catalog Platforms
Availability & Service Level Management Tools
Serve as a role model, demonstrating commitment to diversity & inclusion and Wells Fargos culture and core values.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architecture

  • Extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of an entire line of business or infrastructure sub-domain
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • Vendor management experience
  • Ability to manage large complex cross-matrix organization that includes: multiple business, technology and risk disciplines with direct leadership; the development of the strategy for information security; and implementation of roadmaps for the Enterprise
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development, infrastructure, and architecture environments
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Visio skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of architecture strategy experience
