Think Big Analytics has a unique position available that optimizes a blend of business and analytical skills. Your initial engagements will include support and development of key BI application components as part of a project team. Depending on your experience and talents, you could be building business dashboards, designing and configuring applications or providing project management support.

That's not all. The challenges, ongoing training in business intelligence tools, national networking, and immersion in a wide variety of fields can be utilized to build your expertise in the industry, leading to growth into practice management or as a distinguished engineer.

Core Qualifications: The perfect candidate will have experience that includes:

- Business Analysis - Demonstrated experience or formal training per International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) guidelines.

- Data Modeling - Practitioners level understating of data structures, SQL, and data modeling principles such as relational and dimensional data modeling.

- Application Development - Sufficient exposure to software development to assure interest and aptitude to work with enterprise BI tools for reporting, analysis and data management. Strong understanding of application development lifecycle methods (i.e. waterfall, Agile).

- Orientation to business systems - Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Healthcare Informatics. An understanding of basic business processes and information flow.

In addition, the following is preferred:

- 1-3 years of experience building advanced Dashboards for ongoing measurement and self-service needs - Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik

- 1-3 years of experience writing advanced SQL, performance tuning of BI queries, and developing automated data reporting

- Experience in data wrangling, blending and other techniques to support customer analytical requests

- Demonstrated ability to QA data and analytics to ensure actionable analytics to our customers

- Knowledge of scripting for automation (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.).

- Exceptional ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business and technology partners
