Job Description

This position will report directly to the Business Services Functional manager and will provide support to the Business Services leader and leadership team. May also provide support to Technology Risk managers one to two levels down and will provide general guidance to lower level TRM staff. This is a key role and will be deeply involved in the management and strategic planning of the Technology Risk Management Function. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as TRM liaison to internal support groups such as HR, risk and finance. May also be TRM point of contact to other internal groups as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely response to all management reporting requests and ensure manager meets all deliverables/timelines.
  • Help determine TRM strategic planning objectives and monitor key performance indicators for all strategic initiatives/MBOs.
  • Coordinate and report on business objectives.
  • Anticipate and manage preparation of TRM leadership meetings and events
  • Collect data and perform analysis to provide accurate and informative content.
  • Lead and design key presentation efforts and analysis for TRM Leadership
  • Provide input and oversight to the TRM Workforce and Location strategy
  • Create and implement processes to enhance business management related processes
  • Will interact closely with TRM senior leadership team, EIT business offices, EIT managers and leaders


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Program management experience
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Financial reporting experience
  • Strong analytical skills including analysis of financial metrics
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong, demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization, including experience in effectively communicating in a global organizational structure
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to partner and work effectively with other business units particularly finance partners
  • Understanding of Wells Fargos Enterprise Information Technology budget process
  • Technical environment experience with broad technical knowledge


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
