EIT Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Job Description

This position is responsible for a variety of activities in support of the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team. The EIT RRP team is responsible for leading, directing, and ensuring completion of the firm-wide RRP technology plans and projects as required to support related regulatory guidance.

There are two positions on this requisition supporting different areas. One position is for Capabilities Management and the second position is for Governance and Strategy.

Capabilities Management Responsible for managing lifecycle of Management Information Systems (MIS) capabilities which enable Recovery & Resolution Planning. Partner with business and technology project delivery teams to guide aspects of MIS capability enhancements. Perform long-term capability planning which aligns with strategy and architecture. Maintain capability testing strategy and plan for execution. Partner closely with all lines of defense, Recovery & Resolution Planning Office, Operational Sustainment and Governance & Strategy team.

Governance and Strategy Assist in managing cycles of annual MIS narrative submissions in support of Recovery & Resolution Planning. Manage strategic MIS plans, having awareness of GSIFI industry technology practices. Manage EIT RRP strategy and architecture documentation in support of RRP MIS capabilities. Partner closely with all lines of defense, Recovery & Resolution Planning Office, Operational Sustainment, and Capability Management team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the establishment of Recovery and Resolution plan strategy and architecture
  • Participate in Recovery and Resolution Planning annual regulatory submissions by collaborating with the EIT and RRP partner organizations
  • Track and manage issues across the RRP MIS Capability Area
  • Track and manage intra-cycle questions/responses with agencies on behalf of MIS
  • Create documentation related to Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) for the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization in partnership with other key lines of business.
  • Partner with other capability area leads to execute new processes and perform analysis to ensure sustainability of the EIT RRP function


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to motivate groups and to quickly gain the trust/confidence of executive leaders
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of audit and regulatory compliance
  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives enterprise-wide



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrate keen interest in compliance and regulatory issues related to the financial industry
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability in analytical reasoning, including being able to contextualize data into business activities and conclusions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity.
  • Strong ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis in writing including presentations, executive summaries, and reporting
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology risk management, mitigation, and governance
  • Ensure plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
  • Experience with developing metrics to track/evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Experience with process or business transformation activities
  • Recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary.
  • Demonstrate integrity, respect; be able to work collaboratively and virtually with team members
  • A high comfort level with working in a fast paced, unstructured, unpredictable and frequently changing environment
  • Strong academic background, including a Bachelors degree in IT, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
