Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk.We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. Enterprise Information Security (EIS) is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization. Wells Fargo views information security as enabling lines of business to mitigateinformation securityrisk in accordance with our risk appetite. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects our infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. Business Info Security Leader Enterprise Information Technology

The person selected for this opportunity will be responsible for ensuring that information security is adequately represented on relevant business and governance and is well integrated within Enterprise Information Technology. Will be accountable for strategic partnering with the senior leaders who are responsible for all of the applications in these organizations, providing information security technology, engineering, operations, threat management and architecture advice while coordinating with the Enterprise Information Security teams. Will ensure that clear and timely business advice is provided on key information security issues during pre-deployment and post-deployment of all applications

The successful candidate must recognize that he/she is a facilitator and business leader with responsibility for serving the Enterprise Information Technology teams in implementing information security risk strategies that will enable achievement of strategic objectives. This key executive will provide subject matter expertise and proactively identify risk based security solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Proactively build security practices within a Line of Business (LOB).
  • Provide technical understanding of existing and emerging information security risks for LOB area.
  • Provide LOB views to the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) senior leadership ensuring LOB views are represented within the EIS organization.
  • Provide strategic-level consultation to Senior Technology Managers regarding long and short range information security risk and requirements and recommends innovations which anticipate the future directions of both business and information technology.

The location of this position is flexible within the continental United States.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in information technology, information security, or combination of both
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in one or a combination of the following: information security, risk management or information technology security consulting

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing and implementing information security strategies across a complex organization
  • Experience with information security and risk management, including information security assessment, mitigation solution design/implementation, policy and standards
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 12+ years of recent and relevant experience in information security;
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of enterprise services to include end user computing, conferencing, messaging, mobility, support centers, architecture, innovation and strategic planning;
  • Experience working across senior executive levels. Proven ability to confidently interact, positively influence and build trusting relationships with senior business and technology leaders while effectively and constructively leading change;
  • Demonstrated track record of continuous innovation, effective execution and getting results while embracing openness to new approaches and bringing together diverse points of view to create consensus and a clear direction;
  • Ability to define a clear picture of the future direction and objectives of the organization and develop comprehensive implementation plans;
  • Presentation and large group facilitation experience with ability to present complex information security solutions in simple business terms;Demonstrated success building organizational capability including high performing teams, process, and technology.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen: depth and breadth of expertise, keen insight and creativity, ability to connect and synthesize ideas, ingenuity and imagination in problem-solving;
  • Ability to serve as a role model in demonstrating a commitment to diversity and Wells Fargos culture and core values.
