Business Analyst with Digital Payments Experience

  • Act as a liaison between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems solved through strategic eCommerce-based solutions (e.g., Intranet and Internet).
  • Partner with design, technical and business teams to elicit requirements for cross-channel, customer-facing digital sales and service experiences.
  • Lead requirements elicitation sessions to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes.
  • Produce business requirement artifacts - including UML, Use Cases, Business Rules, Supplemental (Non-Functional) Specifications, and User Interface Design Specifications - for the largest and most complex projects.
  • Be engaged throughout the whole project life-cycle, from Inception through post-Install Transition.
  • Work directly with all levels through to senior management across the organization and be considered the highest-level functioning expert.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years' experience in internet/ intranet-based business systems or e-business consulting.
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Proven ability to produce and explain UML (using Enterprise Architect) and use cases.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work well under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work and learn independently, and take direction from team leads and manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill with requirements management tools, preferably IBM DOORS.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industry
  • Existing knowledge of Wells Fargo, particularly of one or more current online sales/servicing platforms and related business and functional requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodology (authoring user stories and acceptance criteria to express requirements.)
  • Experience with mobile/multi-device requirements
  • Experience with an account origination platform supporting sales staff internal to the organization is a plus
