Position Overview:


The position requires a quality-focused and detail oriented Business Analyst with a demonstrated track record of providing solutions for high-priority business goals and strategic management decisions. The incumbent should be a skilled troubleshooter and problem solver with the ability to translate business processes and problem statements into requirements. The incumbent must be conversant with all stages of SDLC and be able to deliver results within tight timelines.


Required Skills


(Minimum Mandatory Capabilities)


- The candidate is needed to conduct and manage the business and system analysis and testing of the 'Commercial Lending upgrade' project and requires prior experience in managing similar projects.


- Minimum 10 years work experience with at least 5-8 years in IT development environment in the financial domain.


- Prior working experience as business analyst in Loans and Commercial Lending Projects is essential.


- Prior experience in working with Management Reporting, Allocation process, Cost Management is essential.


- Strong exposure to Cost Accounting, Accounting Business processes and Accounting Transactions.


- Strong experience in gathering business requirements and developing documents for Business requirements and Functional Requirements Specifications.


- Strong exposure to developing use cases and business process models.


- Excellent relationship management, communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills.


- Ability to develop and sustain close relationship with peers, business clients and external vendors.


Desired Skills


(Skills not Mandatory but useful for Performance)


- Exposure to IFC's Management Reporting.


- Exposure to IFC's Financial applications is desired.


Terms of Reference

The 'Commercial Lending Upgrade' project manager will report to application delivery program officer/client relationship officer and will have overall responsibility for the oversight and management of the 'Commercial Lending Upgrade' project.


The candidate will (among other tasks):


- Co-ordinate and work with the user group, Application support and Project teams.


- Work closely with the business users in gathering requirements.


- Obtain sign-off from the user group on the requirements identified and documented.


- Produce document with the statement of work and support developing implementation plan


- Monitor the progress of the tasks and promptly escalate any potential issues.


- Work with the other functional units in the IT department and make sure all the requirements are captured and documented as per the specifications.


- Conduct regular business gathering meetings with all the stake-holders and report on the status, issues and risks of the project tasks.


- Closely monitor the deliverables by the vendor and other supporting teams and promptly escalate the issues to Client relationship officer.


- Collaborate with the testing team in the development of test scenarios and test cases for System and Integrated Testing.


- Work closely with the Client Relationship Officer in developing Project plan and other project documents


- Provide status reports on a weekly and other periodic basis.
