Position Overview:


Vendor & Diversity management is seeking a results-driven, innovative and passionate individual to serve in the role of Vendor Management Analyst within the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement department. Join our team of committed problem solvers who are passionate about Vendor Management. The primary objectives of this position are:


- Maximize efficiency, quality, and customer experience critical to the Enterprise Vendor Management team's success


- Update vendor profiles, developing performance scorecards and dashboards


- Provide detailed analytics and performance reporting assessments


- Maintain strong relationships with our internal and external partners


You will be an instrumental member of our operations team, which is dedicated to delivering excellence in customer service to senior level executives throughout the organization. The ideal person for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment and has demonstrated an ability to be analytical and highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint 2013 and PowerPoint. Key responsibilities:


- Maintain relationships with partners and vendors, including developing new relationships, day to day vendor interactions, and handling or directing escalations.


- Provide monthly performance scorecard and spend reporting using Microsoft Excel


- Maintain performance scorecard surveys, vendor profiles and Enterprise Vendor Management SharePoint site to ensure customer experience, timeliness, and a high level of efficiency.


- Summarize survey assessments and create dynamic summary overviews for senior executives


- Formulate and implement systems, auditable policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of business.


- Coordinate tasks and resources to ensure general operations run smoothly with vendors.


- Assist in Ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned


Key qualifications:


- BA degree (Finance, Economics or IT degree a plus)


- 2-3 years of related work experience


- Excellent oral and written communication skills


- Experience with performance and dashboard reporting; analyze and work with large sets of data in MS Excel using a variety of functions


- Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, automation, and improving processes


- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of personalities, from executive personnel, to vendors and partners


- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects


- Exhibit a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks


- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment


- Team player with an ability to work collaboratively; self-starter


- Advanced Excel, SharePoint 2013 and PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials
